Customer Support Manager

Full-Time, Exempt, 10%-20% Travel, Brecksville, OH (Southern Cuyahoga County)

Software Answers has an immediate opening for a Customer Support Manager. Responsibilities include successfully building and maintaining customer relationships to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction, as well as managing the customer support team, product knowledge resources and customer training.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years of customer support experience in a technical environment, plus 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.  Candidates must have strong customer service, communication, organizational and leadership skills, have an enthusiastic and energetic demeanor, and a strong sense of accountability.
 
Candidates should have the ability to demonstrate knowledge of:
·         Client/server and web based architectures
·         Relational Database Management Systems
·         Structured Query Language (SQL)

Documentation Specialist II

Full-Time, Exempt, 0%-10% Travel, Brecksville, OH (Southern Cuyahoga County)

Software Answers has an immediate opening for a Documentation Specialist II. Responsibilities include writing and editing a variety of technical documentation for our suite of ProgressBook software products.

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years experience producing professional quality documentation on software functionality for both online and printed output. Experience with authoring courseware and online training modalities a plus. Technical requirements include advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, Acrobat, RoboHelp and Captivate. Familiarity with knowledgebase authoring tools and using Microsoft SharePoint would be considered an advantage.

Client Services Database Administrator (DBA)

Full-Time, Non-Exempt, 0%-10% Travel

Software Answers has an immediate need for a Client Services Database Administrator. Responsibilities include providing second level technical support within the Client Services department by troubleshooting and fixing data problems with our applications and determining escalation of application problems to contribute to the successful use of our software products.

Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, and have a minimum 2 years SQL database experience.

Essential skills that are required include: the ability to develop and troubleshoot SQL queries and stored procedures, technical skills in database administration, design, and development, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Application Developer I

Full-Time, Exempt, 0%-10% Travel

Software Answers has immediate openings for application developers. Responsibilities include developing, testing, debugging and maintaining assigned software products.

Education required is a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a computer technology field -or- an Associate’s degree in a computer technology field (or equivalent experience) plus 2 years technical experience.  Candidates must also have the ability to understand primary aspects of client/server and web-based applications, object oriented programming, relational database management systems, HTML, and HTTP.  In addition, candidates should be familiar with VB.NET or Visual C#, SQL, web-application UI code, and client-side browser based script. Having experience in an agile development environment would be considered an advantage.

Application Developer II

Responsibilities include developing, testing, debugging and maintaining assigned software products with minimal assistance.  Education required is a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a computer technology field or equivalent experience and 2 years of software development experience.  Candidates must also have the ability to understand client/server and web-based applications, object oriented programming, relational database management systems, HTML, HTTP, and SQL indexing, SSIS, and maintenance plans.  In addition, candidates should be able to develop and revise conditional and control statements in VB.NET or Visual C#, SQL, web-application UI code, and client-side browser based script. Quality Assurance Specialist

Full-Time, Non-Exempt, 0%-10% Travel

Software Answers has an immediate opening for quality assurance specialists. Responsibilities will include developing automated testing routines and performing manual testing to verify software developed by our product teams is meeting requirements. Experience required is a minimum of an Associate’s degree in computer technology or equivalent experience in a related field with an emphasis in quality assurance methodologies and testing; an understanding of client/server and web based architectures, relational database management systems, HTML and HTTP; and practice with developing and revising conditional and control statements in VB.NET and Visual C#, SQL and automated test code.
