Cleveland, OH – December 2, 2013 — Software Answers, Inc., an established provider of web-based software for the K-12 education industry, announces its 2.5 year ITC-wide contract with the North Central Ohio Computer Cooperative (NCOCC) for DataMap: a data analysis application within Software Answers’ ProgressBook Suite.
The NCOCC, an Information Technology Center (ITC), comprises 17 school districts in the north central Ohio region.comprises 17 member schools, 19 charter schools, and 8 parochial schools in the north central Ohio region.  Its contract with Software Answers enables the NCOCC to use DataMap district-wide beginning as early as January 2014.
DataMap collects, aggregates and displays trending and historical standardized achievement test scores, formative and summative practice assessment scores, student demographics, and other student information system data in a single and easy-to-use web portal.  At their fingertips, teachers see classroom, grade, school and state aggregated information.  By drilling down to student level data, teachers gain specific, actionable benchmarks to teach and emphasize, resulting in improved state standardized test scores.
“Helping teachers identify specifics to better educate students for a brighter future, as well as for improved state achievement test scores, is an important mission — we’re excited to be a part of it” says Software Answers CEO, Paul Chaffee. “DataMap has big potential to help districts improve student achievement, their state rating, and impact a district’s state funding allocations.”

DataMap is just one component of ProgressBook’s suite of software applications for K-12 education. Currently, NCOCC is running Software Answers’ GradeBook, ParentAccess, and SpecialServices applications throughout its districts.
